Trayvon Martin (1995 - 2012)

Trayvon Martin (1995 - 2012) was shot and killed by a self-appointed security patrolman, George Zimmerman, who accosted Mr. Martin for walking in a suspicious way, they fought and the "security man" shot to kill. He was subsequently acquitted of all charges at trial. That trial sparked the Black Lives Matter movement.
